Directing the Power of Knowledge Lecture #1 – Robert Pozen

Come and see world-renowned economist and author, Robert Pozen, speak on the future of the Canadian and American economies! Dr. Pozen will kick off the Fulbright Canada Directing the Power of Human Knowledge Lecture Series on Tuesday, June 2 in Toronto, Ontario at 5:00 pm at the Design Exchange (234 Bay Street).  The lecture will be open to the public.

A reception will follow the lecture.

The Fulbright Canada-USC Conversations on Public Diplomacy Series has been announced. The first public lecture will be Dr. Michael Hawes, on Tuesday, April 6th at 12 noon at the Leavey Library Auditorium at USC. If you are in the Los Angeles area, please come out and join us.

Another successful NNASC conference!

This past weekend, experts from across North America got together at Carleton University to attend the “Re-imagining the Canada-U.S. Border” hosted by the Network on North American Studies in Canada (NNASC).  Held just weeks after a security breach on a Detroit-bound flight, resulting in tighter airport security around the world, the conference evaluated current border relations’ successes and shortcomings, while developing creative new strategies to respond to the changing political climate.
