The Foundation administers the prestigious Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program, which provides exchange opportunities for graduate students and scholars in both countries. The Canada – US Fulbright program includes a traditional student program, the Fulbright International Science and Technology Program, the Fulbright MTVu Program, the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship Program , the traditional scholars program, the Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs Program, and the Fulbright New Century Scholars Program. The Canada – US Fulbright Program also supports teachers, through the Fulbright – Hays Summer Seminar Program, and executives of the Government of Canada through the Fulbright Mid-Career Professional Program. The Foundation also administers the Killam Fellowships Program, a program specifically designed to support undergraduate exchange between and among Canadian and American students. Please click on the KIllam Program button on this page to go to the Killam Fellowships web site.

The Foundation also administers the Network on North American Studies in Canada (NNASC). The Network is a consortium of universities, think tanks, government departments, and individuals which attempts to connect leading edge researchers with policy makers on issues of primary importance to both countries.

Through these programs, along with other initiatives, the Foundation attempts to grow the relationship between the two countries, build long-term institutional partnerships, and encourage a deeper and more nuanced understanding of one another.
