The Foundation administers the prestigious Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program, which provides exchange opportunities for graduate students and scholars in both countries. The Canada – US Fulbright program includes a traditional student program, the Fulbright International Science and Technology Program, the Fulbright MTVu Program, the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship Program , the traditional scholars program, the Fulbright Visiting Research Chairs Program, and the Fulbright New Century Scholars Program. The Canada – US Fulbright Program also supports teachers, through the Fulbright – Hays Summer Seminar Program, and executives of the Government of Canada through the Fulbright Mid-Career Professional Program. Through these programs, along with other initiatives, the Foundation attempts to grow the relationship between the two countries, build long-term institutional partnerships, and encourage a deeper and more nuanced understanding of one another.
