Dr. Kris Bulcroft, American Fulbright Scholar, originally from Western Washington University, took up his award in 1995-96 at the University of British Columbia. Now, nearly 15 years later, he will be taking the reigns of another British Columbian University; Capilano University. Fulbright Canada congratulates Dr. Bulcroft on his recent success!

Come and see world-renowned economist and author, Robert Pozen, speak on the future of the Canadian and American economies! Dr. Pozen will kick off the Fulbright Canada Directing the Power of Human Knowledge Lecture Series on Tuesday, June 2 in Toronto, Ontario at 5:00 pm at the Design Exchange (234 Bay Street). The lecture will be open to the public.

During a time of unequaled tragedy, Canadian Fulbright student, Julia Gaffield, has provided the people of Haiti with a small glimmer of hope. After nearly 200 years, the documents which were produced when Haiti declared their independence from France, have been found. While on her Fulbright exchange, Gaffield uncovered the documents at the British National Archives. The documents will be returned to their rightful place in Port-au-Prince.
